UNIFORM LABEL SYSTEM

Designing labels that scale across client brands

Labels are a small part of every uniform, but they hold a program’s brand and production together. I rebuilt a fragmented label process into a reusable system and designed labels for each new client within it, cutting turnaround from about a week to 2 to 3 days.

ONE SYSTEM, MANY BRANDS

Four label types, one consistent structure, adapted to each client’s logo, color, and typography.

DESIGN WITHIN THE SYSTEM

For each new client, I adapted their brand into the label structure, then explored color and layout options before finalizing for production.

IMPACT

  • New client turnaround cut from about a week to 2 to 3 days across 6 programs

  • Lower manufacturing costs through reuse of pre-approved layouts

  • Fewer production errors with a standardized tech pack format

  • Consistent branding across clients, with a recognizable studio style

CHALLENGE

Each client had its own brand guidelines, and legacy label files were fragmented and inconsistent. New clients needed complete label systems built from scratch, and existing clients needed ongoing updates and reorders.

WHAT I OWNED

System rebuild and standardization, label design for new clients, ongoing maintenance of existing programs, production file preparation, and manufacturer coordination and approvals.
